SEASON ENGAGEMENTS

American soprano, Sarah Vautour, finished her tenure as a member of the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program at Los Angeles Opera in the shortened 2019-20 season. She made her company debut as the Dew Fairy in Humperdinck’s Hänsel and Gretel under the baton of Maestro James Conlon, was heard as Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, and was scheduled to perform as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro.

Ms. Vautour appears in the role of Beatrice in Daniel Catán Il Postino. Set in the 1950s on a small island off the coast of Italy, Catán’s stunning score soars against a backdrop of political and spiritual conflict.
